GORSE COTTAGE is a beautiful house, set on a hill overlooking the Atlantic, Aran Islands, the Cliffs of Moher and Galway Bay, close to the famous villages of Doolin and Lisdoonvarna in Co Clare.

Gorse Cottage has five bedrooms, two reception rooms and a very large kitchen/dining area - so can sleep up to ten people.

The garden is laid out in a cottage style with small lawns and traditional dry stone walls. Further out, over 200 native trees - including oak, elder, alder, whitethorn, blackthorn, crab apple, willow and hazel - have been planted on the site in the last few years.

There's also lots of gorse.
